Data handled when you visit

The hosting provider may process technical request information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, time and security diagnostics to deliver and protect the site. Tale24 records article view events, including the article slug, time and a broad device and browser category. We exclude known automated traffic from that count where identifiable. The count is a site statistic, not a reliable count of unique people.

• A browser session storage flag prevents the same article from being counted repeatedly in one session.
• If you email us, we use your message and address to respond and handle the request.
• We do not offer a public account or newsletter signup on this site.

Cookies, local storage and advertising

The public site uses browser storage for its privacy notice and article-view counting. The admin area uses a secure session cookie for authorized editors. Tale24 includes Google AdSense code. If ads or related tags run, Google and other third-party vendors may place or read cookies, or use web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to serve and measure advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies based on visits to Tale24 or other sites; Google's advertising cookies help Google and its partners show relevant ads.

Purpose, sharing and retention

We use the information above to operate and secure the site, measure article readership, respond to messages and support advertising. Hosting and advertising providers may process data under their own policies. We retain operational and readership data as needed for these purposes and for applicable obligations; a fixed deletion period has not been configured for the current readership database. Deleting browser storage does not remove server records.

Your choices and requests

You can ask about, correct or request deletion of personal information directly controlled by Tale24 by emailing contact@tale24.com. Include enough detail to identify the information without sending passwords or sensitive documents. Requests concerning Google's data and ads can also be handled through Google's own controls. Where consent is required for advertising, the site must use an appropriate consent mechanism before serving the relevant ads.
